Sick Bug

Time has flown! This trip hasn't been what I expected in some ways, but that's what happens. Bug got sick at the end of January and then progressively got worse. Thursday I took him to the  doctors (MedExpress) and after she gave me crap but nothing bringing him in sooner he was diagnosed bronchitis and an ear infection. He never seemed super sick, but he was. Luckily he seems to be getting better and has been on antibiotics since Thursday. Yesterday he wasn't feeling well, and still really wheezing. I called MedExpress and she changed his antibiotic. He is still on a medication for his lungs. I hope he keeps feeling better. We leave on Wednesday.

In other words, I just realized that I haven't posted many Bug photos. So, lucky you, a short blog post and lots of Bug pictures. I am using a new Blogger App, so I apologize if this looks weird!

  2. One of the cutest babies I've ever seen - and I thought my own was cute! :) So glad he's on the right meds and hope he's well on the mend soon. Don't kick yourself over not taking him in sooner - he seems like a pretty mellow fellow so now you know to watch more closely. My son had a cough that was gross but otherwise he was ok. Finally took him to the doctor and we were rushed to Children's where he enjoyed a 3 night 4 day stay in deluxe quarantined accommodations. He sure didn't seem that sick but pneumonia was the culprit. You're doing a great job, and there is so much guilt with being a parent, especially a mom. Try not to pile it on yourself! :)

  3. Cute pictures!

Do not feel bad about not taking him in sooner. Rather than berate parents, those in the medical profession would do so much better helping parents what to clue in on when their children do not present as ill. It happened so many times with my son, I finally learned that for him, his eyes were the dead give away.
